Project Sustainability

The Himalayan Alpine Herbal and Agriculture Farm Private Limited is the long run oriented company. There is not any short period project with company now; each and every project will be continued at least twenty years. Such as; establishing a project of Cardamom plantation start to obtain commercial product from third year of first established time and continued up to 20 to 25 years. And regarding cultivation of Kiwi and Avocado we can get the products from the second year of first plantation and continued up to 25 years and onward. The characteristic of Satuwa (Paris Polyphylla) is not similar to those previously mentioned categories. The selling price of Satuwa is remarkably higher among all, and the production process is also highly considerable. It is no matter whether if you want to go through centuries or propose to end after some decades. The commercial product will be obtained after 2 years of first cultivation and the most significant characteristics of Satuwa are best to transplant its rhizomes. For rhizomes transplantation carefully separate the rhizomes in two sections one section will be collected for selling and another part to the root sides will be kept for transplant. Therefore one time investment will provide long term benefit for the years. It depends on the nature of investment sector to reach the financial break-even point for business organization. According to the business plan and potentially proposed product schedule of Himalayan Alpine Herbal and Agriculture Farm, it takes maximum Three years to achieve the financial break-even point. Because of the remarkable annual business turnover the company will be self-sustained after three years of the first project initiation. All three project sites including two ongoing project and one recently proposed project are founded in own land of company owner this is the existing strength of company to retain the sustainability of projects. Therefore no any consequences would suddenly be appeared of dilemma for any immediate shifting of the project sites untimely in future is seen. Regarding the personnel, most of the field workers are appointed from the same village where the project site is located. And all the farm workers/ labors are appointed locally because they are fully familiar with all geographical and social condition of locality.
